We welcome all new patients!
Going to the Chiropractor is a new experience for many of us. Maybe you've heard through a friend or have done some research online. It's possible that you are just fed up with living in pain and you want to do something about it. In either case, your first visit to the chiropractor will really be about getting to know the doctor through discussing your history, current condition and future health goals.
As with any doctor's visit, you'll start by finishing some new patient paperwork. Dr. Richmond begins with an initial consultation, during which he thoroughly learns about your health history, your present physical condition, and your family health background. Y ou have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations or questions that you may have. Dr. Richmond is very sympathetic to patients concerns, i f you've ever had any uncertainty about Chirpractors or certain procedures, explain them and he will work at a pace you are comfortable with!
After the consultation, Dr. Richmond will perform a neurological examination
and if x-rays are needed he will refer you to have x-rays done outside of the office.
Once this is complete, he will take a look at the overall results of your conversation and the exams. Together, you both will come up with a plan of action for follow up visits, starting you on the road to better health.
